How it all started
The Instagram page started back in 2016 when I first brought my boy home. Like many 90's kids who grew up with Initial D, we are reaching the age that owning cars from the 90's era are no longer a mere dream. With enough financial ability and research and market searching, owning these cars were finally a reality; and to many a dream come true! 

I'll spare you the details on how I met my boy but long story short, I started this page as a means to share my experiences about owning the MR2 SW20 Turbo; the good, the bad, and the ugly. I wanted people to really know what it was like to live with and daily this car that many are still dreaming of owning one day. And I'm glad to have helped answer many questions along the way as well as made quite a few friends I never would've been able to meet in person through this journey!

The Brand
"Live Drum Drive" can mean many things to different people; the way I like to put it would be to "Live your life to the beat of your Drum and the Drive of your motivation". 

The yellow, white, red, black color way is also an homage to my boy: White body, Red bucket seats, Yellow (Gold) wheels, Black interior. This was the formation that put my boy on the map and the community. Although my boy will forever continue to evolve, that combination of colors will always be the one that started it all. 

The Merch

I realised that there is some sort of a gap in the merch world; merch is one of the main ways for a creator to get funding for their projects and to promote their platforms through their fanbase. But many merch designs can be very loud - gigantic and bold letterings, over the top graphics - you know what I'm getting at. While those pieces have their time and place, you can't exactly wear them to a Casual Friday in the office or on a Zoom meeting can you?

Here's where I come in! I want to be able to create merch that can be worn or used everyday and suitable for every occasion - whether it's weekend chill vibe or a semi-professional setting, you can support the build and the page any day, every day!

Simple, subtle, and essential are what I want to bring to you. Everybody needs a tee shirt, everybody needs a hat, everybody needs a hoodie, and so-on.
